Service users have helped in the development of the musical activities at Pathways and have found “Jamming” a good way to socialize and become comfortable around others. Using the genre of the Blues is useful in catering for both the beginner and the more experienced and skilled musician. Many of the performers have learnt to play their given instruments over the last 1-2 years. Some of the group have decided to start their own self help group "One Step Beyond" using music as a focus. Although the group is performing they believe it is the taking part that is most important. www.pathwaysds.org.uk

Rusty Staples
9.30pm
The filthiest bingo caller in town - Rusty Staples is officially the 'Worstest Bingo Caller in the North' as voted for by readers of the esteemed organ 'Northern Bingo Callers Weekly'

Despite his shortcomings, he's somehow managed to become the regular caller at the Marvelous Tea Dance Company gatherings.

He's either a chancer who got lucky, or perhaps they couldn't get anybody else. To make matters worse, he's blagged his way into the Pigs Might Fly festival!

We've had a word with him about his unacceptable conduct last time, but we have a feeling that it went 'in one ear & out t'other'
Ottersgear
10.00pm
Fat, juicy tunes with a folk edge - WELCOME TO OTTERSGEAR - Our rambling protagonist, whilst out on his daily stroll about the pike, comes across a balloon. His simple mind thinks the balloon may be god; he has never seen a balloon before (or God for that matter). In his pursuit of the balloon he is trapped by sinful faeries that like to partake in the dance and the drink. They teach their ways to our innocent chap and he falls into their mindless trap. Waking in the woods the next day, terribly hungover and full of regret over his distraction from his objective he makes his way home. On his way he promises never to fall prey to such things again. He finds the balloon once more.
